Wayne Dyer on DVD |
Here at blogger.com where I post my blog, there’s a
feature known as STATS that I have come to enjoy. Though it doesn’t go as far
as telling me how long an individual stays on my blog, it does let me know when
a reader from a particular country shows up for any amount of time & what
posts are being read.
To date, of my 30 plus posts, I have to tell you that when I feature Wayne Dyer, those posts get the most views. (-:

Yesterday I received a package in the mail from a dear friend.
To my surprise & delight it was a movie starring Wayne Dyer. I popped the DVD in the machine and
watched. There was Wayne Dyer playing himself along w/scripted scenes and
actors used to advance the guidance & wisdom he was providing to the
viewer. The film, originally called Ambition to Meaning: Finding Your Life’s Purpose, was changed to THE SHIFT.
Directed by Michael Goorjian 2009. I am sure I am in good company when I say
that I can listen to him talk all night. The guidance this man provides is so
special and so right on that to be aware of him is to love him. Many thanks to Dr. Wayne Dyer for sharing his gift with the world.
He often talks about shifting the focus off ourselves. The EGO ("Edging God Out") is
in control in the "morning" of our lives. When we get to the "afternoon" of our
lives, hopefully it is spirit that is in play. At the moment of our conception
and the 9 months we spend in the womb, we do not have to do a thing. We just
allow. Ah, “allowing”. What a concept lost on the best of us. Then once we are
born, we gradually lose that allowing & our ego takes over. Having negative
thoughts or feelings? Well, it’s the ego talking. And we spend many years
proving our value to society and ourselves by what we can accumulate and
accomplish. We grow attachments to things and when we lose our things (eventually
we all lose something) we are unglued. Life doesn’t feel good. Out of the
unhappiness may spring awareness that there is more to life than our
identifying with externals. He calls it a quantum moment also known as that
spark of awareness that shifts our paradigm to serving others and giving back.
WE all have a gift implanted in our soul and it is up to us
to find out what that is and share it with the world. We are spiritual beings
having a human experience and not human beings having an occasional spiritual
experience. Allowing and trusting
in our universe by way of living through the spirit and not the ego is a joyful
way to live.

Lynne this is beautifully written. If we are to have the life experiences God has gifted us with, we must begin living the human experience through our spirit and not our egos. When we begin to do that, we begin living a life that is beyond our wildest imagination. What a blessing!!
